BASIC FUNCTION

The Cycle Counter/Material Handler is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory, performing cycle count duties, and storing and moving material to ensure accurate inventory control.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods. Ensure materials are in proper locations and conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory. Report discrepancies of over / under amounts and any damaged products to supervision. Loading, unloading, identifying, labeling and putting away of inbound material. Pick, pull and distribute material to appropriate warehouse locations to support manufacturing and order fulfillment. Utilize JDE software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, past activity and record material transactions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required. Proficient with basic math.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds on occasion. General warehouse cleanup and housekeeping

Excellent communication and organizational skills. Conduct all interactions with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, customers, and field sales representatives in a focused, positive, courteous and respectful manner. Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish effectiveness of the company. Flexible with periodic change in hours when required. Cross train in multiple job functions Safely operate various material handling equipment (e.g stand up forklift, reach truck, sit down forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc.)
