The successful inventory manager is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities. They possess great attention to detail and a business mindset.

Job Description:

Perform daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management Process the flow of merchandise through back-end inventory system Examine and approve purchase orders and invoices for accuracy Receive and ticket merchandise - enter description and other characteristics into the inventory system Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory Liaison between merchandising department, vendors, and accounts payable Assist with companywide inventory audits Identify fair market value of selected diamond and jewelry merchandise and maintain /update cost and selling prices in inventory system Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

Qualifications:

Jewelry experience is a MUST Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position Working knowledge of inventory management Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports An analytical mind with strong math skills Excellent organizational and planning skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Reliable and trustworthy
