Warehouse Associate/Inventory The Encouragers Ministry East Hartford, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $21.74 - $25.78 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Summary As a Warehouse Associate/Inventory Specialist at our church, you will play a vital role in supporting our ministry and community outreach efforts by ensuring the efficient and organized management of donated goods, event supplies, and operational materials.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming donations, supplies, and materials. Accurately label, sort, and store items in designated warehouse locations. Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to maintain system accuracy.
Warehouse Operations:
Prepare orders for distribution to community members, partner organizations, or church events. Safely load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
Team & Ministry Support:
Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners. Help train and guide volunteers in warehouse procedures. Support church events by ensuring needed supplies are available and delivered on time.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Pay:
$21.74 - $25.78 per hour
