Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Control Clerk and become a vital part of our supply chain operations! In this role, you will oversee inventory accuracy and ensure seamless coordination between procurement, logistics, and sales. Your expertise will help optimize stock levels, improve process efficiencies, and support our commitment to delivering exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain management, data analytics, and manufacturing operations within a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular data collection and analysis. Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in stock movement, order fulfillment, or materials handling processes. Collaborate with procurement to support category management and negotiate supplier contracts that optimize pricing and supply chain costs. Generate reports on inventory trends, demand planning, and supply chain analytics for leadership review. Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, including materials handling, heavy lifting, and 3PL (third-party logistics) partnerships to ensure timely delivery of goods. Support material management by assisting with production planning, stock stocking strategies, and order fulfillment accuracy. Implement process improvements based on analysis skills and data mining insights to enhance warehouse management system efficiency and overall inventory control. Unload and receive materials from vendors, and record incoming materials (forklift operation required). Make requests for purchasing for materials that have insufficient stock. Load outgoing shipments (forklift operation required). Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, warehouse distribution, procurement, and inventory control practices. Experience with demand planning, category management, sourcing strategies, and logistics operations. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective process improvements within warehouse environments. Skilled in materials handling equipment operation such as forklifts; certification preferred. Knowledge in using basic office productivity software such as Microsoft Office 365 is also required.
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
