Tool Crib Attendant - 3rd shift
Pay:
$19.09/hour + $2.00 shift differential

1st Shift | Entry-Level Join JTEKT in Piedmont as a Tool Crib Attendant and support the heart of our production operations. In this role, you'll manage incoming and outgoing tooling components, maintain organized inventory, and help ensure teams have the equipment they need to keep things running efficiently. It's a steady, structured environment where attention to detail, dependability, and basic computer skills go a long way. If you're looking to build experience in inventory control or manufacturing support, this is a great place to start. What You Need High school diploma or GED required Strong computer skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail Ability to read part prints and measure components using tools like calipers and micrometers Solid math skills for inventory tracking Willingness to obtain forklift certification (if not already held) Ability to work independently and support cross-shift training if needed Strong communication skills for working with both internal and external teams Availability for overtime and flexible shifts when required What You Will Do Maintain a clean, organized tool crib using 5S principles Receive, weigh, and store incoming tooling components in proper locations Track and issue stock through the computer system and maintain accurate records Restock returned items and support daily cycle counts and physical inventories Collaborate with Production Control on order tracking and inventory availability Safely move materials using tuggers, pull carts, and lifting equipment Support inventory accuracy through regular reporting and hands-on checks Complete other tasks as assigned by management #INDPRO
