Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Inventory Lead is responsible for managing the receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of the facility, whether through internal or external transfers. In addition, this person manages our internal audit process by cycle counts, building products, tracking, investigating, and resolving variances while ensuring compliance with the State of South Dakota. The Inventory Lead will work closely with the Retail General Manager and the Compliance Manager on implementing strategic marketing initiatives to ensure both staff and patients/customers have the best experience possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Complete daily inventory audits Inventory Control (cannabis product within Flourish and FlowHub) Tracking non-cannabis inventory Tracking all accurate brand inventory (audited weekly) Communicating accurate inventory levels with customers Taking product images and maintaining the information displayed Ensuring branding and products are displayed for customers Verify correct inventory is listed Verify all bulk weights and package quantities upon intake; adjusted as necessary Stocking NNC accurately based on inventory reports Communicating low inventory to management Training employees as needed by supervisor Communicate inventory issues with management Keeping your station clean and organized at all times Cleaning up all of stock room before leaving every day Assisting with returns from customers Assisting with inventory related discrepancies from the POS Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISION REQUIRED
Will work under the direct supervision of the General Manager while also in close communication with retail management and marketing teams.
QUALIFICATIONS/TYPICAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Maintain Valid Driver's License Must be able to pass Background Check Must pass drug/alcohol screening with exception to marijuana. Ability to calculate and perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Maintain and attend various Safety training and/or standards when directed. Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, on-call as needed. Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment. Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team atmosphere. EXPERIENCE
Cannabis retail related experience preferred College degree preferred; High School diploma required Minimum of 21 years of age Must pass any and all required background checks Excellent interpersonal communication skills Accountability for self and others Practical and proactive thinking Maintain organized workplace Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Demonstrates a quick ability to adapt, maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with different groups, changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and/or procedural manuals. Must have the ability to write detailed reports and correspondence in a clear, well-organized manner. Must have the ability to speak effectively for the manufacturing departments as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a manufacturing/retail environment. The noise level in the work environment can range from low to high. Temperatures in the work environment range from cold and dry to warm and humid, respective to the product processes. The work environment requires the use of PPE at all phases, and strict cleaning and cross-contamination protocols. The product and plants are agriculture goods that have the ability to produce odors that may linger, can penetrate clothing and heighten senses.
