Allen, TX Job Details Full-time 10 hours ago Qualifications Basic math Customer inquiry handling High school diploma or GED Productivity software Full Job Description The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. The cycle Counter will also assist the Warehouse, Production, and Customer Service in locating materials

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Cycle count materials based on the "ABC" grouping system which will be monitored by the Inventory Control Manager. Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports. Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors. Responsible for answering CS, Warehouse, Production and Engineering inquiries in a timely manner. Assist all Warehouse Pullers locate materials. Assist in updating dims and weights for all materials in database. Always follow all safety rules and regulations. Be able to carefully and safely drive the order picker and other warehouse equipment. Always maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other duties as assigned Minimum 2 years of experience Good communication skills verbally and written Ability to multi-task Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Effective time management skills Able to conduct in a professional manner Basic mathematical knowledge Ability to work with different departments Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment Perform different job functions within the warehouse department Ability to follow procedures, best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior Education High School Diploma or GED required

QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The work performed is in a warehouse setting with forklift and operating other machinery. Frequent movement from area-to-area to transport items weighing 50+ pounds..

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to various outdoor and indoor environments (i.e. general office, industrial complexes, food processing plants, semiconductor labs, clean rooms, etc., some of which can be hazardous). Temperature variances, high noise levels, and dusty environments may be encountered.
