Overview:
Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Florida and Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.
Accountabilities:
Inspect and clean products received from drivers. Send inspection report to the appropriate department. Checks deliveries and returns against requisitions and purchase orders to ensure accuracy. Classify produce by ripeness and condition, for proper storage. Perform product put-away and moves into slots as required. Follow and uphold all company policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Work involves lifting materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds. Work in a refrigerated environment, between 34 and 55 degrees. You must always wear appropriate PPE (such as steel-toed shoes, safety vests, gloves, and hairnets) while in the work area.
