GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general supervision of Materials & Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Lead, receives, stocks, issues, ships, delivers and maintains parts, supplies, and packages at the Central Warehouse, as well as interacting with stakeholders and contractors.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects materials and supplies received for damage; verifies that materials and supplies received comply with specifications and are the correct quantity, description, and part number; updates and maintains receiving records utilizing barcode software and other computer programs. Issues materials, parts and supplies to authorized Board employees and contractors, answers questions by telephone, email, and in person pertaining to available inventory items and their availability. Stocks warehouse shelves/bins; rearranges warehouse materials and supplies in accordance with accepted warehouse and good housekeeping practices; assists in taking physical inventories and cycle counting. Serves as a liaison between PMM stakeholders, contractors, service providers, and suppliers in resolving inventory related issues. Reviews and tracks the status of requisitions and purchase orders. Operates a vehicle to pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and packages to destinations campus wide. Operates computers including handheld/desktop to complete inventory/non-inventory transactions. Operates banding machine, forklift, motorized and manual pallet jack, stretch wrap machine, and other powered, non-powered, and hand-operated warehouse equipment to move materials. Collects and sorts incoming mail from the Post Office daily for processing in the AHQ Mailroom. Distributes incoming mail and packages across DFW's campus, collects outgoing mail, applies postage using a postage meter, and delivers it to the Post Office. Other related duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent. Six (6) months of general warehouse experience including general clerical experience. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to operate forklift and other material-handling equipment. Ability to operate computerized inventory control systems including but not limited to Oracle Fusion, and RF Smart. Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word. Ability to communicate professionally in person, on phone, or via messenger or email. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and to figure weights and measurements. Ability to work other than assigned shift when required. Ability to work at various locations on DFW Airport premises. Ability to pass a medical physical examination.SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport's Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal. Department may require up to three (3) months of experience operating equipment common to a mailroom. EFFORTS Works in a warehouse environment and occasionally outdoors in inclement weather conditions. Performs heavy manual labor, frequently exerting forces equivalent to lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally exerting forces equivalent to lifting up to 100 pounds. Operates banding machine, forklift, and other powered and manual warehouse equipment. Communicates by telephone, email, messaging, and in person. Uses computer, and/or handheld barcode device and postage meter. Performs basic mathematical calculations and figures weights and measurements. Drives to locations on Airport property.
