Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to optimize inventory management processes. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure optimal stock availability. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with production planning teams to forecast demand and align inventory strategies accordingly. Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms for purchasing inventory and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Analyze data related to inventory turnover, sales trends, and market demand using tools such as SQL and Nielsen insights. Support the development of demand planning strategies by providing accurate data analysis and reporting. Assist in the implementation of best practices for inventory management, including storage solutions and stock rotation methods. Qualifications Proven experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of production planning processes and demand forecasting techniques. Familiarity with 3PL operations and warehouse management systems is a plus. Proficient in data analysis, with experience using SQL or similar tools for reporting purposes. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
