Job Description

Adecco is actively hiring for a Stockroom Lead. This position would coordinate and direct the daily workflow of the stockroom department including inventory management, kitting, receiving, and shipping functions; serve as the operational point person on the floor and delegate tasks to team members to meet production needs. This is an hourly, non-exempt, full-time position, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Typically Reports to:
+ Productions Manager, Executive VP, VP of Operations, and other key management personnel
Qualifications:
+ Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident. + Must have the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Must be punctual and have good attendance. + Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. + Minimum high school diploma or GED required + 3-5 years of experience in inventory, shipping/receiving, or electronics industry operations, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior associate capacity + Must be detail-oriented and have good organizational skills. + Must be proficient with computer systems including ERP/inventory management software, Microsoft Office, and data reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with inventory, shipping/receiving, and electronics industry-related equipment; prior lead or senior associate experience in an electronics manufacturing setting strongly preferred.
Physical Demands and Activity:
+ Possess physical strength necessary to unload, lift, and carry heavy boxes. + Stooping, bending, and lifting a minimum of 40 pounds.
Essential Functions:
+ Coordinate and direct the daily workflow of stockroom team members, delegating tasks and adjusting assignments as needed to meet production schedules and operational demands. + Assist management in onboarding and task training for new stockroom team members; serve as a resource and point of contact for day-to-day questions and procedural guidance. + Communicate with production, engineering, purchasing, and project management teams regarding component availability and material needs to support production schedules; escalate issues to management as appropriate. + Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement cycle count procedures to maintain accuracy and minimize shrinkage. + Proficiently use ERP systems and inventory tracking software to manage stockroom operations, generate reports, and support production planning. + Verify parts, kits, and quantities of items. + Properly operate equipment such as, but not limited to, weight scales, reel counters, and computers. + Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory. + Receive, inspect, and store electronic components and raw materials. + Package finished goods, label packages accurately, and ensure packaging meets customer and carrier specifications. + Understand and properly use materials provided by process engineering to perform the job and make sure that all equipment is running properly and safely on a daily basis. + Immediately escalate equipment malfunctions to maintenance and/or management, and take appropriate corrective action to minimize production impact. + Perform proficiently at a quality standard set by the company's mission and commitment statement.
Marginal Functions:
+ Maintain a clean work area. + Leads will be required to complete all applicable training and ensure team members are trained and current on all procedures. + Willingness to collaborate with and support other departments as operational needs require. •
Pay Details:
