Vending Operator The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - 4.7 Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Part-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Hand trucks Basic math Moving High school diploma or GED Driver's License Dollies Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description Cafeteria employees enable Church employees and temple patrons to focus on their most important work of bringing souls unto Jesus Christ by providing food services in a simple and affordable way. Assures vending machines located at various Church-owned locations are filled, maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. Assures vending machines are filled to prescribed levels and items are rotated per instructions from supervisor. Incumbent must follow specific vending procedures and supervisory instructions. Must be able to move cases of pop, candy, etc. from storage area to machines easily using a hand truck. Items are moved from shelving ranging from 2 t0 6 feet in elevation. The incumbent handles large amounts of cash and food inventory and is responsible to balance machine cash/inventory daily. Performs minor repairs and maintenance on vending machines; requires general mechanical aptitude and ability. Drives van to various machine locations in the Salt Lake Valley in order to fill and maintain vending machines. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in vending. Valid driver's license required. Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct basic inventory of machines/cash. Ability to move items from shelving ranging from 2 to 6 feet in elevation. General mechanical aptitude and ability. Basic math skills are essential. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Vending experience helpful. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. alone; push or pull up to 1000 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly or jack.
