Job Description

Job Overview The Inventory Control Clerk is accountable for all inventory related functions including but not limited to: counting, locating, receiving, sorting, investigating, auditing, putting away, and order fulfillment within the distribution inbound and outbound warehouse. While performing the duties, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced cold environment (<32°F to -35°F). Position requires standing throughout the shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility. Duties Always maintain clean and safe working conditions Master the Inventory Process and perform with accuracy Issuing and receiving product into and out of WMS and CSM Manage inventory and filing systems Run and complete daily inventory cycle counts as required Address Inventory shortages work with production coordination as needed to ensure proper levels are maintained on products Perform all required Inventory audits end of year and mid-year for Cold Storage and Warehouse Complete daily inventory audits / cycle counting with a goal of 500/locations per week Handle all assigned tasks to completion and report any issues and concerns immediately Ability to safely and accurately operate warehouse Forklifts and Walkie Riders Ability to load and or assist putting products into warehouse or cold storage locations Be able to operate technology needed daily in the warehouse or cold storage environments Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship 2+ years of inventory or warehouse experience Forklift experience/certification (PIT, reach truck, or pallet jack) Basic computer and scanner experience Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English Strong problem-solving and ability to prioritize tasks Able to work independently with minimal supervision Flexible schedule availability Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform warehouse tasks
