Job Description

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, collaborating cross‑functionally, and making a real operational impact. What You'll Do As a Inventory Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records that support our production and sales operations. This position works closely with multiple departments and plant locations to ensure inventory accuracy, data integrity, and timely reporting. The Inventory Associate's typical job duties include: I Perform cycle counts across all locations, reconcile discrepancies, and accurately record updates in Microsoft Business Central. Complete month‑end inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Research and resolve inventory-related questions or discrepancies. Support annual inventory and financial audits as needed. Partner with cross‑functional teams to provide inventory and master data insights. Serve as backup coverage for other Inventory Team Members when needed (may include full‑day coverage). Assist plant locations with traceability exercises and provide documentation for tracing or recall activities. Manage and maintain master data, including item setup and ongoing updates. Receive Inventory of purchased grain into Microsoft Business Central from the WY location. Record grain consumption for railcar transfers between WY and MAN locations. Support plant personnel with production-related data entry issues that impact inventory accuracy and respond to ERP help tickets. Coordinate and enter daily inventory transfers between plants and warehouses for assigned sites. Track in‑transit transload inventory and record related transactions in Microsoft Business Central. Update and maintain inventory-related Excel spreadsheets and Power BI reports (production, usage, inventory levels, etc.). Adhere to all safety, sanitation, GMP, government, and company policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. What You Bring Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous inventory experience and/or related training preferred. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus. Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and mathematical skills. Proven problem‑solving ability and self‑motivation. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as a team player with a positive attitude.
