Full Job Description Overview:

Responsibilities:
This is supervisory work in the operation and administration of a storeroom; responsible for supervising and/or participating in the receiving, recording, storing, and issuing a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies, including those of a specialized nature; maintaining records and accountability for store items; servicing and maintaining equipment; and recommending the purchase of equipment and supplies; supervises the checking of incoming materials for quantity and quality against invoices or purchase orders reporting discrepancies to a supervisor; issues supplies on approved requisitions; prepares and maintains a perpetual inventory system for all storeroom and laboratory supplies and equipment; supervises and/or participates in the care and maintenance of storeroom and supplies and equipment; assembles, packs, and arranges for transport all stored goods and materials; Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards Regular and prompt attendance Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required Related duties as assigned
Additional Information:
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years clerical experience, one of which must have been in receiving, storing, shipping, and issuing stores and/or laboratory items. Required Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
