About Us:
Warrior Group of Alabama, LLC is a growing company in the construction materials industry, focused on delivering quality products and reliable service to our customers. We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable team member to support our accounting, purchasing, and inventory operations.
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable, Purchase Order & Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, entering and tracking purchase orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy and keeping inventory levels organized and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents Create and enter purchase orders based on company needs Track and maintain inventory levels, including incoming and outgoing materials Reconcile inventory counts and investigate discrepancies Maintain vendor records and assist with vendor communication Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Track job-related costs and assign expenses appropriately Maintain organized digital filing systems Support accounting and sales teams as needed
Qualifications:
Experience with accounts payable, purchase order entry, and/or inventory tracking Familiarity with QuickBooks Online Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of accounting principles Experience working with inventory, materials, or warehouse processes is preferred
