Job Description

BACKGROUND
Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 1,700 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. As a Beacon employee, you can be a part of delivering our mission and improving the lives of people with disabilities.
POSITION INTRODUCTION
We seek a responsible and detail-oriented individual who will be able to work with a team to maintain an inventory of consumable supplies. This position is located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. This position is part of the Ability One program which requires candidates to meet the Ability One definition of disabled. Specifically," a person who has a severe physical or mental impairment which so limits the person's functional capabilities that the individual is unable to engage in competitive employment over an extended period of time."
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock, order and receive consumable supplies. Receive excess equipment and perform technical inspection. Coordinate and execute installation Transportation Office shipments. Shipping and receiving. Cataloguing and posting property into a database. Labeling property for accurate tracking. Conducting inventories. Create and update Supporting and Document files using Microsoft Office Tools. Storage management. Attend training as required. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
A good working knowledge of supply systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. High School Diploma or GED. One year experience performing the above responsibilities. Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Must meet Ability One definition of disabled.
