WAREHOUSE AND INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST
Hiring Pay Range:
$18.76 to $19.92 per hour, DOE Range 29, 12 months - 261 days/year
Schedule:
40 hrs/week, Monday -
Friday NOTE:
This position is eligible for our full benefits package, including medical, dental and vision, with a generous employer contribution! Non-exempt (hourly paid)

Under the general supervision of the Director of Finance, the Warehouse and Inventory Control Specialist plays a vital role in the District\'s operational efficiency. This position manages the flow of goods, ensures the integrity of inventory data, and maintains meticulous records of District assets. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy a mix of office-based data management and active warehouse coordination, and want to support the success of our schools behind the scenes, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:
Logistics & Receiving:
Oversee incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy by verifying deliveries against purchase orders. Efficiently organize and store goods within the warehouse.
Inventory Management:
Lead the physical inventory process, maintaining precise records of stock levels through regular counts and audits.
Fixed Asset Oversight:
Manage the lifecycle of District assets, including physical tagging and utilizing automated systems to classify, reconcile, and retire equipment.
Reporting & Data Integrity:
Generate routine reports and perform accurate data entry to keep automated inventory systems current and reliable.
Operational Support:
Serves as the backup to the District Courier. Assist with their workload, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups across District sites. Additional Duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:
Compliance Expert:
Familiarity with CFSD and USFR regulations regarding inventory accounting and fixed assets.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in using automated inventory systems and maintaining digital records with high accuracy.
Safe Operator:
Skilled in the safe operation of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, stackers, rolling ladders, and hand trucks.
Effective Communicator:
Ability to build strong working relationships with staff and administrators through clear oral and written communication.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or
GED Experience:
At least one (1) year of experience in a centralized warehouse or receiving environment.
Driver\'s License:
A valid Arizona Driver\'s License and a clean driving record are required.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform active warehouse tasks, including lifting objects exceeding 50 lbs.
