Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory/Production Specialist to join our supply chain and procurement team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth within a dynamic organization committed to operational excellence. Responsibilities Assist in preparing and issuing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and production supplies Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates, and quantities Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, lead times, and discrepancies Support supplier documentation and record maintenance Assist in creating and updating production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity Help coordinate material availability with production requirements Track work orders and assist with schedule adjustments as needed Support cross-functional coordination with production, engineering, and quality teams Monitor inventory levels and assist with reorder point tracking Help maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation Support reporting on shortages, excess inventory, and material usage Maintain purchasing and planning records in accordance with company procedures Other duties as assigned by Management Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years of experience in purchasing, production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing support (internship or entry-level experience acceptable) Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external vendors Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Manufacturing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
