Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in El Segundo, California . This position will support Supply Chain activities for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Commercial and Government Satellite products and services. This exciting position is fast paced and provides a unique opportunity to learn about and support the Boeing Space Business from a variety of areas. You will build a foundation of skills, experiences and partnerships necessary to develop and pursue more complex Supply Chain opportunities across the Boeing enterprise. Position Responsibilities - Senior Level 4 : Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectation s Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performanc e Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and program s Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategie s Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategie s Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and program s Position Responsibilities - Lead Level 5 : Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship s Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers, commodities and program s Leads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issue s Consults with management and customers to lead the development of future supply base requirement s Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilitie s Drives the company's cross-functional supply base strategy proces s Evaluates potential proposals and coordinates sourcing proposal s Ensures external partners are meeting business expectation s Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and program s This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Typical Education/Experience:
Senior Level 4: Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. Lead Level 5: Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.
