Job Description

Are you a dependable and detail-oriented professional with supply chain or warehouse experience? We're seeking a Distribution Technician to help receive, stock, deliver, and manage supplies and equipment across healthcare departments. In this role, you'll support inventory, supply carts, warehouse operations, mail room duties, and deliveries between sites helping keep daily healthcare operations running smoothly. $25.00-$32.00 Hourly (DOE)

Mon-Sun (Rotating shift, including weekends)

07:30 am - 04:00 pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
1-2 years inventory / warehouse control Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, evenings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Courier/delivery driver a plus Prior experience operating hand-held computer devices in a warehouse or inventory environment Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Oral and written ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of people. Ability to read product information accurately Good computer skills Self-starter Strong attention to detail Knowledge of proper use of a hand-held barcode reader Strong customer service skills Ability to lift, push and pull 50-lbs Responsibilities Responsible for the receipt, distribution, and stocking of all supplies and equipment. Utilizes appropriate inventory methodologies designated by the Lead Distribution Supply Tech. Organizes and coordinates inventory space usage. Participates in all scheduled physical inventories for supplies and equipment. Makes checks to product carts to ensure they are properly stocked and expired product is removed. Follow up on back orders for customers. Assist with processing supply orders in the warehouse, inspect, log and put-away counting. Maintains proper hand-held function and procedures. Works in the mail room processing mail. Sort and deliver mail to the departments Runs the Pitney Bowes meter. Drives the courier vehicles and or personal vehicles to transport supplies between sites.
