Operations Relocation candidates NOT accepted. Opportunity only open to local candidates within a reasonable commute. We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records, ensure system integrity, and support inventory movement tracking across operations. This role is responsible for maintaining discipline across key inventory control processes, including: FIFO (First-In, First-Out): Ensure proper inventory flow and minimize obsolescence
Traceability:
Maintain complete visibility and accountability for all inventory movements
SOP Compliance:
Follow and continuously improve standardized processes to ensure consistency System Integrity (ERP/Coupa): Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and aligned with physical inventory Service Delivery Awareness (SDA): Understand downstream impact of inventory on operations and customer fulfillment 3
PL Coordination:
Partner with external vendors and logistics providers to maintain accuracy and alignment This role focuses on inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and system updates , working closely with receiving and cross-functional teams to ensure all inventory transactions are properly recorded and aligned. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in inventory control, inventory management, or inventory-focused receiving roles Hands-on experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems Proven experience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy and data integrity Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances Proficiency with Excel or inventory reporting tools Experience working independently in a high-accountability environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory levels and system records for all inbound and outbound activity Process inbound shipments with a focus on verification, system entry, and data accuracy Perform cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (shortages, damages, miscounts) Update and manage inventory data in ERP/WMS systems Generate reports and analyze trends to improve inventory accuracy Apply FIFO and inventory control best practices Partner with internal teams to ensure inventory alignment and transaction accuracy Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded and traceable Support process improvements related to inventory systems and workflows Preferred Experience Experience supporting receiving processes with system responsibility Exposure to inventory reporting, variance analysis, or trend tracking Experience supporting process improvements or system implementations Work Environment Combination of system-based work and inventory verification tasks Regular use of inventory tools, scanners, and ERP platforms Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed Why Join Fast hiring process with quick start Contract-to-hire with strong conversion potential Competitive pay and growth opportunities Stable, operations-focused environment with long-term growth Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $29.00 Per Hour
