Inventory Field Specialist Location:
Sacramento, California The Company One of the largest and most established public adjusting firms in the Western United States and Canada, committed to guiding policyholders through the complexities of insurance claims. The Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Field Specialist to join our Sacramento team. In this role, you will support our Inventory Specialists in the field by documenting and cataloging damaged personal property following residential and commercial disasters such as fire, flood, or mold. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that requires empathy, reliability, and a strong sense of organization. Responsibilities Assist Inventory Specialists by capturing detailed records of damaged or destroyed property on-site. Visit loss sites to photograph, document, and voice-record inventories of affected contents. Provide exceptional customer service to clients experiencing crisis situations. Utilize mobile tools and proprietary software to enter and manage inventory data. Follow structured workflows and job plans under the guidance of Inventory Managers. Submit administrative reports, expense documentation, and match receipts. Maintain professionalism in high-stress and physically demanding environments. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year experience in a customer-facing role. Strong attention to detail and comfort with technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to travel extensively and work independently. Must have a reliable personal vehicle. Willingness to work in damaged environments (e.g., fire, water, mold) and wear protective equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift/move items exceeding 50 lbs. Comfortable climbing ladders, crawling through tight spaces, and working on-site in damaged or hazardous structures. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
