Job Description

MIR Mosaic, a fast-growing nationwide distributor and manufacturer of high-quality wall and floor tiles is seeking an experienced Inventory Control/ Loss Prevention Specialist who is detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, able to manage complex systems, and who has excellent communication, math, and analytical skills. The Inventory Control / Loss Prevention Specialist must be able to multi-task, have high organizational skills and be detailed oriented. This position brings value to the organization by ensuring the availability of products to Customers by maintaining accurate, reliable, effective, and efficient processes while continuing to look for ways to reduce waste.
Responsibilities:
Receiving the inventory and placing it on the dedicated racks or shelves; Performing daily cycle counts and inventory adjustments; Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all product is properly counted; Performing complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies as needed; Identifying, analyzing, and addressing gaps in inventory processes; Reporting directly to Warehouse Manager and President; Creating and maintaining inventory locations; Processing incoming freight in a timely manner; Inspecting all outgoing orders for accuracy; Communicating in a professional manner with the team member and customers;
Desired Skills & Experience:
3+ years of warehouse experience; 2+ years of inventory control experience; 2+ years of forklift experience required; Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and various warehouse management systems; Very strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, averaging, percentages); Ability to effectively plan, communicate the plan, and hold self and team members accountable for the plan; Good written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work calmly under pressure; Must have excellent planning, prioritizing, organization, and problem-solving skills; High problem-solving skills; Critical thinking and organizational skills; Professional demeanor; Dependability and punctuality; Detail-oriented; Self-motivation; Ability to work quickly and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
