Inventory Specialist Off The Charts - 2.2 San Jose, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $23 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Parental leave Vision insurance Employee discount Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Merchandising Project management Records management Attention to detail Data accuracy checks Quality data entry Full Job Description Inventory Specialist In the role of Inventory Specialist you are responsible for managing the full product lifecycle, overseeing everything from initial reception to final disposal. Maintain accurate reconciliation between our physical stock and the digital inventory records in Metrc and Meadow to ensure accuracy and continuous business operations.
Primary Duties Delivery Intake:
Accurately count every unit per box. Inspect for product or packaging damage, verify that all items meet state child-proof standards, and confirm expiration dates. Strictly manage Metrc manifest procedures, ensuring all manifests are either rejected or accepted within a 24-hour window.
Digital Merchandising:
Manage Weedmaps product listings to ensure the online menu is retail-ready with high-quality images and accurate descriptions.
Data & Physical Accuracy:
Perform daily cycle counts across all product groups (flower, concentrates, pre-rolls) to ensure zero discrepancies prior to final system reconciliation.
Organization & RFID Oversight:
Oversee the handling of Blue RFID tags, ensuring they remain with products until the package reaches zero and that Unique Identifiers (UIDs) are accurately recorded on all backstock.
Recall & Quarantine Protocols:
Execute prompt physical and electronic isolation of recalled goods, utilizing distinct, labeled "Quarantine" containers to prevent commingling.
Disposal Coordination:
Follow the bi-monthly waste destruction cycle, ensuring all UIDs, product information, and mandated reason codes are accurately entered into the master log.
Trade Sample Management:
Manage the allocation of trade samples to qualified staff, ensuring meticulous logging of all essential tracking information.
Required Skills & Knowledge Metrc Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of Metrc is preferred. Efficiency in

Ability to communicate compliance-related issues and guidance to employees clearly, consistently, and effectively. Attention to
Detail:
Maintain a zero-tolerance for errors in data entry, UID tracking, and manifest processing.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Physical Strength:
Ability to regularly lift, carry, and maneuver inventory boxes weighing up to 25 lbs during intake and internal transfers.
Agility & Maneuverability:
Capability to navigate confined storage areas, which may require crouching, bending, or kneeling to access low-shelf inventory or understock drawers.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
