Job Description
Inventory Control Specialist San Rafael, CA (5 Days Onsite) Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy, ERP data integrity, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will partner cross-functionally with warehouse, quality, accounting, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve inventory processes and maintain accurate inventory controls. Responsibilities Manage daily cycle count activities for Finished Goods and Raw Materials Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate inventory discrepancies Analyze cycle count results and execute corrective actions Monitor inventory transfers and maintain inventory accuracy across warehouse operations Support and improve inventory control SOPs and work instructions Conduct warehouse audits and outbound shipment accuracy checks Coordinate with Quality teams regarding inventory statuses including holds, rejected materials, and quarantined inventory Monitor expiration dates and communicate mitigation plans for aging inventory Maintain accurate ERP records including Item Master and BOM creation/revisions Partner with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Purchasing, QC, Manufacturing, and Distribution Support FIFO compliance and inventory aging initiatives Assist with physical inventory counts, reporting, and inventory KPI tracking Provide training and guidance on inventory control processes and ERP/WMS functionality Perform root cause analysis related to inventory variances and process gaps Support 3PL and co-manufacturing inventory monitoring and reconciliation Requirements 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment Hands-on experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis Experience working within ERP systems (NetSuite experience highly preferred) Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills Experience developing SOPs, process documentation, or conducting operational training Ability to analyze inventory KPIs including accuracy, shrinkage, and variance reporting Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Self-starter with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities Experience working with 3PL or co-manufacturing environments is a plus Spanish bilingual skills are a plus Additional Information This role is fully onsite in San Rafael, CA, 5 days per week Position involves both office and warehouse/manufacturing floor environments Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed
