The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. Role Description:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy across warehouse and production operations by auditing inventory transactions, verifying incoming and outgoing material, supporting cycle counts, and assisting with inventory investigations. This role works closely with warehouse, shipping, receiving, planning, and production teams to ensure inventory integrity and material accuracy throughout the facility. What you'll do: Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy within the ERP system Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and material variances Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits Audit incoming raw materials and finished goods for quantity accuracy Verify inventory transactions related to receiving, production, scrap, and shipping Review material movements between warehouse and production areas Verify shipments prior to release to ensure material accuracy Support receiving inspections and shipment verification activities Perform floor audits of inventory locations and material movement Coordinate with warehouse, planning, and production teams to identify shortages and discrepancies Monitor inventory levels and support kanban/min-max replenishment processes Assist with loading and unloading activities during high-volume periods Support implementation of inventory control procedures and process improvements Maintain organized inventory locations and material identification Support hands-on warehouse operations as needed Perform other duties as assigned What we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain experience preferred Manufacturing experience preferred ERP experience required; IQMS / DelmiaWorks experience strongly preferred Forklift experience or certification preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Intermediate Excel skills preferred High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to lift and move material as required Strong communication and organizational skills Plastic Molding Technology does not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters.
