The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Supply Management Specialist in a developmental capacity. Performs developmental assignments of moderely difficult and complex nure consisting of well-precedented tasks designed to orient the employee in the applicion of supply programs and activities. Performs recurring assignments. Independently performs work assignments which gradually increase in difficulty and complexity. Carries out special projects and participes in special initiives and studies. Prepares written correspondence and other documention. Performs other duties as assigned.D0878P01 GS-11
Its purpose is to plan, organize, direct, coordine and manage all command supply and services functions. Plans, organizes and manages supply and services functions to include command equipment/property readiness/accountability management. Advises the DOL Logistics Management Officer (LMO) on command supply and services stus and recommends support required for current and proposed operions. Maintains current command supply analysis on trends of effectiveness and efficiency. Directs actions to improve/correct undesirable supply conditions, practices and policy in the command. Receives fiscal informion from each subordine function to prepare and review budget estimes for the command supply and services functions. Monitors required unit equipment inventories and is active in the development, scheduling and execution of special command physical inventories. Monitors unit DODAAC submissions. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Help Conditions of employment May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Membership in the Colorado Army Nional Guard. Must hold the grade of E-6 thru O-4 or W-1 thru W-5. Submit all required documention. E-6 thru O-4 or W-1 thru W-5 1. Specialized experience used to determine qualificions for the announced position. 2. GS-9 Must have least 24 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following :- Experience analyzing, developing, evaluing to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc.
- Experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment.
- Experience in cost estimes, budgets, or funding management.
- Experience conducting extensive searches for required informion; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operions support.
- Experience requiring person-to-person contacts to convey informion and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. GS-11 Must have least 36 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following :
- Experience supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions.
- Experience with the entire inventory management supply system.
- Experience coordining with other organizions on complex and controversial supply issues.
- Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulions to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
