Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, HSA, FSA, Dependent Care, Voluntary Life, EAP, 401(k) Match Position Objective The Inventory & Fulfillment Specialist plays a critical role in supporting distribution center operations by ensuring the accurate allocation, packaging, tracking, and fulfillment of cannabis products. This position is responsible for inventory control, order fulfillment, compliance documentation, product quality verification, and inventory transactions across multiple systems. Through meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of cannabis compliance requirements, this role helps maintain inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted product flow throughout the organization. Essential Functions Order Fulfillment & Packaging (45%) Accurately weigh, package, label, and prepare cannabis flower for transfer and fulfillment in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements. Execute flower allocations, split-packing activities, and package attribution processes within METRC and other inventory management systems. Pick, pack, verify, and stage customer and internal transfer orders with a high degree of accuracy. Conduct quality control inspections on outgoing products to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications. Generate manifests and supporting shipment documentation as required. Create, review, and upload invoices and transfer documentation accurately and on time. Verify product quantities, weights, labels, and package information prior to shipment or transfer. Assist with fulfillment activities supporting both flower and consumer packaged goods (CPG) product lines. Support transportation preparation and product staging activities as needed. Inventory Control (30%) Perform inventory transactions accurately within METRC and other inventory management systems. Maintain accurate package records, inventory adjustments, transfers, package splits, and inventory reconciliations. Execute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory tracking and verification activities. Maintain detailed inventory records, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability. Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, investigations, and discrepancy resolution. Monitor inventory levels and communicate inventory concerns proactively to leadership. Restock operational supplies, labels, packaging materials, and other fulfillment resources as needed. Collect, verify, and enter product and inventory data with a high level of accuracy. Quality Assurance, Compliance & Operational Support (25%) Maintain comprehensive knowledge of METRC requirements, inventory tracking procedures, and applicable cannabis regulations. Ensure all inventory and fulfillment activities comply with state regulations, company policies, and established SOPs. Develop and maintain proficiency in all fulfillment, packaging, inventory, and compliance procedures. Identify and escalate inventory, compliance, or quality concerns promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment utilizing 5S and continuous improvement principles. Collaborate with cultivation, manufacturing, sales, retail, and distribution teams to support operational goals and customer needs. Participate in inventory audits, compliance inspections, and process improvement initiatives. Contribute to a culture of accountability, safety, accuracy, and operational excellence. Education and Experience Must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with state cannabis regulations. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Working knowledge of cannabis inventory management and compliance requirements. Experience utilizing METRC or a comparable seed-to-sale tracking system. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of precision. Basic computer proficiency, including spreadsheet and data entry experience. Ability to accurately read and record weights and measurements. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel) Requires scheduling flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs. Must have reliable transportation to consistently report to scheduled shifts. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time throughout the workday.
