The indefinite appointment termined within 30 days of return of the incumbent to the position. This position is loced within TASMG Projects and may be extended or termined the discretion of the TASMG Commander.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide services in support of inventory control, storage and distribution, caloging or supply identificion systems, property utilizion, or other reled supply activities including those associed with automed or manual supply accounting systems. Manages aviion merials and resource tracking (i.e. Depot Level Repairable (DLR)/Class 9 (CLIX) funds and all other approprie air and ground budgets), Test Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)/tools management, and Hazardous Merial Management.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.

This is an excepted position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the Connecticut Army Nional Guard. The major duties include, but are not limited to: Responsible for all phases of DLR and CLIX repair/repairable items procurement and returns program. Assists/performs the Property Book operions in the area of inventory and storage management, and equipment coordinion. Analyzes supply transactions or provides customer service for urgent critical shortage items and items requiring special handling when established procedures are not applicable. Within funding limitions determines stock replenishment levels for centrally controlled items. Establishes procedures for management of calibrion, testing of TMDE, and monitors tool room operions, to include accounting for, issuing and replacing tools. GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Experience, educion, or training in a variety of operions or situions concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automion systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Experience conducting extensive searches for required informion; reconstructing records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operions support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts. Experience performing routine aspects of supply work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems reled to a limited segment in one of the major areas of supply management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of requisitions, supporting documents and reference merial to perform merial coordinion storage management responsibility for special programs, maintenance, and production shops. Knowledge of established supply regulions, policies, procedures, and other instructions applicable to the specific assignment. Knowledge of all phases of Depot Level Repairable (DLR)/Class 9 (CLIX) repair/repairable items procurement and returns program. Knowledge to conduct extensive and exhaustive searches for required informion to reconstruct records for complex supply transactions. Knowledge and ability to perform routine aspects of supply technician work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems reled to a limited segment in one of the major areas of supply management, such as inventory management, excess property, storage management, etc.

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENT

For an indefinite appointment which is to backfill a deployed technician, MOS and unit of assignment are waived for 18 months following assignment. However, rank requirement must be met to avoid grade inversion.

This position requires a security clearance (secret) which the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment. For positions requiring the operion of motor vehicles, candides must have a valid ste driver's license for the ste in which they live or are principally employed.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

Training the Nional Guard Professional Educion Center (NGPEC) is a mandory condition of employment, subject to availability of resources. NGB prescribed courses NGPEC must be completed within 6 months of assignment to this position. Failure to complete course(s) may result in reassignment or terminion of full-time employment unless extenuing circumstances preclude course tendance.
