Job Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist works in the warehouse, performing assigned duties to maintain an accurate inventory of all product lines handled at G&C Foods. The Inventory Control Specialist resolves discrepancies found by the daily morning aisle checks.

Essential Functions:

Confirm and correct inventory issues/checks. Assists in returns, overages, and shortages. Spot check pallets and the ability to verify that damaged products are valid, answer driver Reports any discrepancies to management. Communicate with the Inventory control group to document and correct over

• and short-shipped boxes.

Requirem ents:

Two years warehouse experience, food service distribution or related industry preferred. Experience in operation of Powered Industrial Equipment, including Riding Pallet Jack. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively relating to the job and the safety regulations. Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills. Understand product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures. Strong communication skills, motivation, and energy. Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff. Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.
