Full Job Description Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control & Parts Room Associate to organize and maintain inventory in our parts room. This position involves organizing inventory in a parts room, going across multiple storage rows, entering inventory into our inventory management system for parts, operating a forklift, and handling materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at heights, performing heavy lifting, and has previous inventory and forklift experience. Responsibilities Organize and maintain inventory across 8 rows of parts storage. Count, label, and accurately track inventory. Enter and update inventory information in the company's inventory management software. Receive, stock, and relocate parts and materials as needed. Operate a forklift safely to move inventory throughout the facility. Conduct routine inventory audits and cycle counts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Requirements Previous inventory, warehouse, or parts room experience preferred. Forklift experience required (certification a plus). Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software. Comfortable working at heights using ladders or elevated storage areas. Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs. regularly. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software. Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments.
