Full Job Description Description:
Our new, modern cold storage warehouse will utilize innovative technology and equipment along with a personalized service offering. This novel combination of new and personal makes FlexCold highly sought after for cold storage space. Team members will share in our success as we create enduring client relationships. Maintains accurate record of all received products. Maintains accurate warehouse inventory. Conducted cycle counts and follows best inventory management practices.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for an accurate account of all the inventory coming in and out of the facility. Conduct physical inventory for products in the facility. Work with the Import/Export Clerk to ensure audits are conducted using BOL, invoices, and any corresponding documents. Responsible for documenting and communicating OS&D to Operations Manager and correlating customer by established deadline. Physical/Location Inventory, Reconcile Inventory - Item, Date Code, Location, Quantity. Cycle Counts, Relocation Paperwork, Review computer locations for errors. Make sure row tags are correct and up to date. Audit shipping and receiving procedures and paperwork / daily review of locations entered into the WMS system to verify accuracy. Work with warehouse supervisors to specify locations for inbound product and relocation process. Check all inbound/outbound loads per company/customer procedures. Audits shipping/receiving information with dock receipts and pick sheet information. Audits order pickers count, item, date code, lot numbers, & processes catch weights. Clears all outbound loads for shipment per company/customer procedures. Ability to switch to warehouseman roll during busy times as directed by the Inventory Manager. Which includes operating material handling equipment, order picking and loading trucks. Ability to perform the same work duties as those supervised or assist in their performance. Other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one year related experience or equivalent combination. 2-3 years of proven warehousing experience. Superior math skills. Ability to read and interpret documents. Excellent problem-solving skills. Experienced with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and be detail oriented. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Desktop computers, and label printers. Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed. Ability to work in warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e. temperatures as low as -20F/-25C, concrete floors, and powered industrial trucks). Strong customer service orientation with urgency in meeting objectives and deadlines. Ability to tolerate heights up to 50 ft and be able to access elevated product from inside safety cage.
