Process Inventory Specialist Pay Rate:
$22.00•$24.00 per hour
Shift:
Rotating 5:30am•2:10pm 2:00pm•10:40pm Position Overview Employment Solutions is currently hiring a Process Inventory Specialist for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for executing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory transactions within the ERP system (SAP transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics 365) with a high level of accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a production-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Perform production order confirmations in ERP systems, including material allocation and consumption tracking using Bill of Materials (BOM) Ensure accuracy and completeness of all inventory transactions to maintain batch traceability and data integrity Execute inventory movement transactions between storage locations in the ERP system Physically receive, move, stock, and organize materials in designated storage areas Conduct regular physical inventory counts and recommend adjustments or transfers based on findings Collaborate with production teams (supervisors, material handlers, and line workers) to ensure FIFO compliance Partner with logistics, quality, and IT departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of inventory tasks Develop Excel-based reports and tools to analyze material usage, consumption rates, and inventory trends Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvement Support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory control processes Perform additional duties as assigned by management Requirements Associate degree preferred Minimum 2+ years of inventory control experience Prior ERP system experience required (SAP required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Knowledge of SAP T-Codes strongly preferred Experience in ISO and GMP environments highly desired Bilingual English & Spanish required (reading, writing, and speaking) Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically and mentally demanding environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes #IND1
