(TITLE 32), GS-2003-11, you will plan, organize and manage supply and services functions to include command supply and storage, and command equipment property accountability management; formule and implement command supply opering procedures and policies necessary to support units; advise the DOL on command supply and services stus and recommends support required for current and proposed operions; collect and consolide da for areas in which operions are anticiped; maintain current command supply analysis on trends of effectiveness and efficiency; direct actions to improve/correct undesirable supply conditions, practices and policy in the command; manage, control, analyze and recommend corrective action for property losses in the command; receive fiscal informion from each subordine function to prepare and review budget estimes for the command supply and services functions; monitor required unit equipment inventories and is active in the development, scheduling and execution of annual/special command physical inventories; monitor unit DODAAC submissions; ensure timely unit submissions on adds, changes, or deletes. : Must have experience, educion, or training in a variety of operions or situions concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automion systems.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: GS-11 Must have least one year of specialized experiences the GS-09 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience, educion, or training supervising and/or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience coordining with other organizions on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulions to upper levels of management regarding supply functions. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.TEMPORARY PROMOTION
- For Title 32 selectees only : This is an obliged position (incumbent is on a military tour). If a permanent employee in the Title 32 excepted civil service accepts this position, he/she will retain their permanent stus AND return to their previous Title 32 position once incumbent returns from military duty. If the military tour member, who has reemployment rights to this position, does not exercise his/her reemployment rights within 5 years, the selected individual may remain in this position without further competition.INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT
