Full Job Description Description:
The Inventory Specialist oversees the accuracy of inventory transactions and reporting and resolution of discrepancies through proper channels. This is a full-time, 1st shift, non-exempt position.
Requirements:
Responsibilities:
Continuously monitor inventory operations to benchmark performance, determining root cause of errors, and to ensure record accuracy improves steadily and permanently. Responsible for regular and systematic count verification of daily cycle counts, monthly, and annual physical inventory to establish accuracy. Manage inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data. Utilize scanners and computer applications to investigate, update, and correct inventory variances. Confirm accurate allocations and inventory levels across Shop Orders, Purchase Orders, and Customer Orders. Verify sufficient materials for upcoming production runs.
Qualifications:
Must be detail oriented and quick learner Basic computers skills MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and Knowledge of RTF Scanners preferred Supply chain, inventory experience preferred. Ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned duties. Clear and concise communication skills required. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or retail work experience preferred.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, flexibility in scheduling may be required
