Job Description

SUMMARY:
The Parts & Inventory Specialist manages the flow of parts and materials to support daily operations. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, timely ordering, organized storage, and efficient distribution of parts to technicians and production teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
40 - 45 hours per week Inventory Management — Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation. Parts Ordering — Source, order, and track parts from approved vendors to maintain adequate stock levels. Receiving & Inspection — Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy, inspect for damage, and enter items into the inventory system. Stockroom Organization — Label, store, and organize parts for easy access and efficient workflow. Data Entry — Update inventory software with part numbers, quantities, locations, and usage. Issuing Parts — Distribute parts to technicians or departments and record usage accurately. Vendor Coordination — Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, returns, and delivery schedules. Reporting — Generate inventory reports, track shortages, and identify slow‑moving or obsolete items. Process Improvement — Recommend improvements to inventory control procedures and storage systems. Safety Compliance — Follow all safety guidelines for handling materials, equipment, and storage areas. QUALIFICATIONS
Attention to Detail — Ability to maintain accurate counts and documentation. Inventory Software Knowledge — Experience with ERP systems, barcode scanners, or inventory management tools. Organizational Skills — Strong ability to keep parts and storage areas neat and accessible. Communication Skills — Clear communication with technicians, vendors, and supervisors. Basic Mechanical Understanding — Familiarity with parts, tools, or equipment relevant to the industry. Physical Capability — Ability to lift 30-50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Experience in a
