Inventory Specialist

Western Window is a local, family owned, well established company in Nampa next to I-84 looking for a dependable Inventory Specialist. The Inventory Specialist supports the Inventory Team and overall operation by ensuring accurate receipt, tracking, organization, and availability of inventory materials. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting purchasing and production operations, and helping prevent material shortages that could impact production schedules or customer deliveries.

Essential Functions:

Receive incoming inventory and verify quantity and quality of materials. Receive inventory into the digital operating system. Provide constant communication between Inventory and Production Teams to ensure joint success. Perform cycle counts of all SKUs at a minimum frequency of once every three (3) months, with higher-frequency counts for high-volume or critical materials. Monitor inventory levels in the plant and in the digital operating system. Provide support and back up to the Purchasing Manager. Work with Forklift Operators to ensure organization of inventory. Assist Production Team by locating inventory. Move inventory by hand and with equipment such as forklifts. Complete continuous inspections of inventory throughout plant (daily if feasible). Monitor and communicate expected outages of material. Assist other departments such as Shipping as needed.

Qualifications:

Prior forklift experience a plus. Ability to read tape measure. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk +8 hours per day. Must be able to perform job duties in a non-climatized warehouse. Must be punctual and have reliable transportation. +18 years of age.
