We are currently hiring for the role of Inventory and Expedite Specialist.

Summary:

The Inventory and Expedite Specialist is responsible for managing vendor communications, tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This role serves as a key link between vendors, internal teams, and customers by providing accurate order status updates, coordinating purchasing activities, and supporting warehouse operations through cycle count administration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Expedite open purchase orders with vendors to ensure on-time delivery Obtain and maintain accurate expected ship dates Communicate order status, delays, and updates to customers in a timely and professional manner Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to improve responsiveness and reliability Assist with purchasing activities for assigned vendors, including issuing purchase orders and monitoring order progress Maintain accurate records of order status, vendor communications, and delivery schedules Coordinate and administer cycle count programs for warehouse personnel Track, reconcile, and report inventory discrepancies identified during cycle counts Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory and order issues Support continuous improvement of purchasing and inventory control processes

Qualifications:

High school diploma required 2+ years of experience in purchasing, order management, customer service, or a related office role preferred Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail a must Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Experience working with vendors and supply chain processes is a plus
