Elgin, IL Job Details $18 - $19 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team in Elgin, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our inventory processes, ensuring that our stock levels are accurate and efficiently maintained. If you have a passion for logistics and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability. Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast inventory needs. Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements and generate reports. Implement and maintain best practices for inventory control and organization. Assist in the training of new staff on inventory procedures and systems. Address and resolve any inventory-related issues promptly and efficiently work with our material blending department to prepare materials for molding department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics or related field preferred. Proven experience in inventory management or a related role. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
