About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Department Lead to oversee our internal inventory systems and ensure our technical team has the components they need to minimize equipment downtime. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain workflows and maintaining the organizational integrity of our shop operations. Responsibilities Oversee daily inventory management to ensure seamless support for all maintenance and repair activities. Drive operational efficiency by maintaining precise digital records and tracking all stock movements. Proactively monitor supply levels and manage procurement processes to eliminate project delays. Streamline administrative workflows by handling purchase orders, invoicing, and essential documentation. Optimize the physical layout of the parts department to improve accessibility and retrieval speed. Collaborate with shop leadership to align inventory availability with current maintenance demands. Qualifications Required Skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in data entry and computer-based inventory tracking systems. Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Self-motivated professional capable of working independently to meet operational goals. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a parts department, warehouse, or maintenance shop setting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis. Demonstrated success in supply chain coordination or procurement.
