In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse distribution processes, and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. Your expertise will support procurement, demand planning, and logistics operations, contributing to seamless stock management and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact our supply chain strategies through data-driven insights and process improvements. Duties Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or AS400. Conduct root cause analysis to identify inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, or overstock situations, implementing corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiations to optimize pricing and supply terms. Utilize data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Nielsen to visualize inventory trends, demand forecasts, and supply chain performance metrics. Perform demand planning and forecasting by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and retail merchandising insights to ensure optimal stock levels. Coordinate with logistics providers and 3PL partners for shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling activities. Lead process improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and materials management through lean methodologies or Six Sigma principles. Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely for stock movement within warehouses. Collect data for financial modeling related to inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and supply chain costs to support decision-making. Monitor inventory KPIs regularly to ensure compliance with company standards while supporting e-commerce fulfillment channels. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong background in warehouse distribution and inventory control. Demonstrated proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as SAP or AS400, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data mining, root cause analysis, and financial analysis related to inventory and procurement. Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, contracts management, and category management. Experience with demand planning, production scheduling (MRP), logistics coordination, and materials handling is highly desirable. Familiarity with retail management environments or e-commerce operations is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments including merchandising, procurement, logistics, and finance. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory management.
