Inventory Manager Role:
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and system integrity within a food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role focuses on administrative, analytical, and system-based inventory functions that support warehouse and production operations. The Inventory Control Coordinator works closely with the Inventory Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate transactions, proper documentation, and compliance with FIFO, food safety, quality, and traceability requirements. This position plays a key role in troubleshooting inventory discrepancies, resolving system issues, and supporting production and warehouse teams through data review and transactional corrections. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, patience, and a hands-on mindset toward continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and resolve system issues related to reservations, adjustments, RAF postings, and material consumption Support production and mixing rooms by correcting transactional errors and validating batch documentation Support warehouse operations through administrative review of inbound and outbound inventory transactions Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices Collaborate with QA on inventory holds, releases, and traceability documentation Support traceability investigations by reviewing lot, batch, and transaction history Review and adjust ingredient consumption for production batches to ensure system accuracy Analyze inventory data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement Provide inventory insights and reports to support procurement buying decisions and planning activities Communicate inventory issues, root causes, and corrective actions to cross-functional teams Ensure compliance with FIFO, food safety, quality, and internal control procedures
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills/ Abilities:
Strong working knowledge of inventory systems (Microsoft D365 preferred) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting Excellent administrative, documentation, and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Working knowledge of accounting processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and product costing Strong math skills with the ability to perform inventory calculations, unit conversions, and variance analysis accurately Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement Spanish is a plus but not required
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an inventory, warehouse, or supply chain-related role Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 55 pounds on a regular basis Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting throughout the shift Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment, including exposure to varying temperatures (dry, refrigerated, or freezer areas as applicable) Forklift experience is a plus. Training and certification will be provided as needed.
