Job Description

Position Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and maintaining accurate records of all consumables, supplies, tools, and company assets used across the facility. This role works closely with the Crib Manager and department leadership to ensure inventory accuracy, cost control, and availability of materials necessary to support production and maintenance operations. Inventory Management Perform weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Weekly inventories must be completed and submitted by end of day (EOD) each Tuesday. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all on-hand materials, consumables, and assets. Assist the Crib Manager with developing and maintaining an effective system to track inventory and asset usage. Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and communicate findings to management. Support asset tagging, tracking, and auditing processes. Organization & Process Improvement Work with the Crib Manager to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient inventory storage area. Help create and improve systems for inventory flow, material staging, and inventory accountability. Support implementation of new procedures, tracking tools, or software that improve accuracy and productivity. Vendor & Purchasing Coordination Collaborate with management to forecast material and supply needs for upcoming projects or production cycles. Work with vendors to review pricing, request quotes, and negotiate competitive costs when possible. Assist in maintaining positive vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Communicate shortages, backorders, or high-use trends to management. Cross-Functional Support Work closely with the Crib Manager, Maintenance, Fabrication, and Harvest teams to ensure materials and tools are available when needed. Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying accuracy against purchase orders. Help track and reconcile usage of consumables issued to departments or team members. Additionally, the Inventory Specialist will perform any other duties as assigned by the management team.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
