Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Create, issue, and process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner. Source and evaluate vendors by comparing pricing, quality, lead times, and service capabilities. Negotiate costs, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms to support company objectives and customer requirements. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and vendors. Ensure all purchased materials and services meet established quality standards and specifications. Monitor order status and proactively resolve shipping, delivery, invoicing, or supply issues. Coordinate closely with receiving, warehouse, and production teams to ensure efficient material flow and inventory accuracy. Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers and material sources to ensure shop work orders are completed without interruption and customer requirements are met. Monitor stock levels and inventory usage Track incoming and outgoing materials Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP and inventory management systems Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy Identify and resolve shortages, overstock conditions, obsolete inventory, and discrepancies Reorder materials and products to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent production delays Analyze inventory trends, usage patterns, and demand forecasts to support operational efficiency Collaborate with Sales Management to ensure inventory levels align with customer requirements and production demandsQualifications & Skills Required:
2-5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, warehouse, or inventory management Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Analytical and mathematical aptitude Effective negotiation skills Excellent time management abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office applicationsBenefits:
