Job Description

Job Title Inventory Specialist Shift Shift 1 (United States of America) Summary This position oversees the storing and distributing processes of the organization's products and supplies. It is responsible for controlling the flow of product, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance, performing cycle counting, and developing protocols for loss mitigation. This position is an office, hourly position and reports to the Manufacturing & Inventory Control Supervisor.
Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and engage in year-end inventory assessments. Implement inventory adjustments as necessary. Designate bin locations for newly created part numbers along with processing inventory holds. Develop new bin locations and corresponding identification labels. Aid in the identification and retrieval of parts throughout the facility. Assist and oversee the salvage material from canceled orders. Coordinate the management of all incoming materials from the receiving office, encompassing the organization of the warehouse and the arrangement of finished products. Monitor the inventory of overstock items in the warehouse and allocate any items that require replenishment. Conduct a monthly assessment of aging or low-usage inventory. Engage in all continuous improvement initiatives pertaining to inventory control/management. Coordinate the movement of materials from receiving to the appropriate bin location. Engage in effective communication with the manufacturing manager and supervisor to ensure a seamless flow of material inventory throughout the facility. Collaborate with the manufacturing manager and supervisor regarding any concerns related to inventory. Maintain compliance with company policy, safety, and good housekeeping practices. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in inventory control. 2-3 Years of Manufacturing Experience. Experience using Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) Preferred Experience utilizing Google Email/Sheets/Docs Basic Math Skills Ability to utilize Tape Measure Accurately Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic knowledge of materials and processes. Solid computer skills. Must be an ambitious self-starter with effective people skills, capable of working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
