Inventory Control Specialist Location:
Seymour, IN Employment Type:
Full-Time Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs. Position Summary Guardian Bikes is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring materials are properly tracked throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records within the company system Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Monitor inventory movement between departments and locations Assist with receiving, stocking, and material transfers as needed Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory Work closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams Track damaged, missing, or obsolete inventory Support year-end physical inventory counts Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2-4 years of previous inventory experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred Ability to use scanners, spreadsheets, and warehouse software Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to bend, reach, and move materials throughout the shiftSimilar jobs in Seymour, IN
