Job Description

JOB PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
Support the Inventory Operations Manager with inventory management activities across all sales locations, including equipment ordering, receiving, transfers, and inventory audits for both serialized and non-serialized equipment. Assist in improving inventory turn rates by following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to help minimize equipment carrying costs and interest expense. Receive and unload inbound deliveries, accurately process inventory transactions, and coordinate store-to-store inventory transfers. Perform local deliveries and pick up new trailers and equipment as needed. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and presentation standards of the sales lot, including debris removal, machine cleaning, and equipment staging. Prepare equipment and attachments for sale or service by uncrating attachments, fueling equipment, replacing batteries, addressing tire issues, and moving sold equipment for PDI processing. Support inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, serial number assignment, transfer processing, and inventory audits. Review, monitor, and process warranty registrations and manufacturer rebate submissions in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure equipment security and proper lot management procedures are followed at the end of each business day. Assist Sales & Marketing Departments as requested. Secondary duties may include meeting, greeting and educating customers about the equipment we sell. Promote confidence in the equipment, the business, yourself and successfully close sales. This position reports to the Inventory Operations Manager. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in inventory, warehouse, dealership, or equipment operations preferred. Knowledge of agriculture, construction, compact equipment, or trailers is a plus. Ability to safely operate forklifts and equipment; certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage inventory accurately. Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems and manufacturer portals. Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Ability to lift and move equipment or materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to assist with a variety of operational tasks as needed.
