Inventory Specialist

Warehouse, Cooler operator Job description : Cooler operators are the front line of our inventory management. You will be unloading our supply trucks and rotating stock to ensure that we always have the freshest produce to choose from. Also, you will function as a guide for your cooler when other workers come searching for product.

Key Accountabilities :

• Maintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures.
• Reports any suspected breach of security or unusual happenings to supervisor immediately.
• Takes time to learn all of our products and how to evaluate them.
• Performs work in a timely manner.
• Reports to supervisor when work is finished.
• Able to read and note BOLs.
• Maintains the cooler, keeping the floor clean by sweeping as necessary and placing trash in the prearranged areas.
• Keeps stock rotated (FIFO) and removes poor product from the supply chain.
• Inform order pickers as to which product to use first when needed.

Requirements :

• Ability to read and speak the English language
• Must be able to lift up to eighty (80) lbs occasionally
• Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs frequently
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly
• Must be able to work continuously in an environment that is 36-41F (COLD)
• Must be forklift certified or able to become so
