About Us The Verb is Herb is a licensed cannabis dispensary dedicated to providing high-quality products in a professional and compliant environment. We're currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory & Salesfloor Assistant to support our inventory and fulfillment operations, as well as working a register, fulfilling preorders, and handling the door. If you're passionate about organization, compliance, and cannabis, we want to hear from you. Job Summary As an Inventory and Salesfloor Assistant, you'll support daily inventory operations, ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, and help fulfill customer orders as your main duties. You will also be called upon to assist Salesfloor with any register work needed, and watching the door to help maintain the flow of customers. Responsibilities include data entry in METRC, managing stock movement, and monitoring inventory through Flowhub. Accuracy, reliability, and prior experience with cannabis inventory systems are highly valued. Having handled cash, and worked with customers are also highly valued. Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory levels in METRC, Flowhub, and internal systems Track and process product movement between the vault, sales floor, and delivery areas Support daily inventory counts and scheduled cycle counts Conduct compliance audits in accordance with Cannabis Control Commission regulations Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and replenished Accurately process and fulfill delivery orders Confirm all products have current testing results and are accurately displayed in POS and online menus Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of all cannabis products Maintaining a register, and the transactions with it Having exceptional customer service skills Being a team player with the whole of the store, as well as independent with your tasks. Required Qualifications Must be 21+ and eligible for an Agent Badge (background check required) Valid driver's license Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 lbs (up to 200 lbs with assistance) Strong math skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities Hands-on experience with inventory or POS systems (Flowhub experience preferred) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Comfortable with rotating shifts including mornings, weekends, and holidays (We are looking for someone who is willing to work mornings/midday shifts.) Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of inventory or supply chain experience 1+ year of customer service and cash handling Cannabis industry experience (strongly preferred) Familiarity with METRC and cannabis compliance procedures Background in retail, pharmacy, or customer service environments Fast learner with a team-first mindset and proactive attitude
